·   Contract position to update granite with network equipment and to complete all necessary info

2009 – 2015 Time Warner Cable – Cell Tower Tech / Sonet Supervisor / Fiber services Tech /      

              Project Manager / Planning and Design

·   Plan/Design/Deploy Alcatel Lucent TSS Sonet Network for Cell tower operations for the MTSO/MSC of VZW/Tmobile/Sprint networks. I was solely designated to install all of them within the NEO Network.

·   FTTH – Install, configure and test Terminal equipment for EPON, GPON services (Triple play)

·   Install, configure and test CWDM/DWDM and many other transport equipment types for Cell tower services.

·   Co-Project manage other groups (Construction, Provisioning, Management) to ensure project

       Completion dates completed on time, and correctly (IE: permits) and Deal with issues that could  

       be hold ups, and Ensure that all make ready’s were completed properly and on time.

·   Ensure my group had equipment configured, wired and installed properly to turn over for alarm 

       verification and customer acceptance.

·   Perform various types of Business class services IE: Docsis, Voip, Juniper EX and MX, and various other types, including standard point to point, spoke and multileg services. (Cleveland Metropolitan School district is a prime example. They used Muxed, Point to point and Multileg services.)

·   Plan/Design/Deploy Alcatel Lucent 7750/7705/7210 for the NEO Ethernet network.

·   Extensive use of Xing/Granite and M6 Metasolv and various other Provisioning systems

·   Maintain Fujitsu Network, Extensive use of Juniper MX and EX4200’s and switches

·   Various types of Adva equipment (Adva 3000, 825, 114 to name a few)

·   Install / test / Turnup of Cisco ONS 15454 M6 Multiservice DWDM Transport Platforms and switches.

·   Supervised Cell tower and Circuit provisioning and design Groups.

·   Was designated the sole tech for any AC and DC plant installations and connections..

2008 – 2009 AT&T

·   U-verse installer, Install Voice/Video /Internet services to customers home or business,

1992 – 2008 MCI Telecom / Worldcom / Verizon CPE Tech / Fiber Construction / Fiber services

·   Created a Cost savings program and became a Project Manager that saved company on average 15 million dollars a month by finding existing fiber pops, distributing services through them, and removing the last mile we paid a foreign Telco for access. I was sent to address various government contacts for the Washington DC and Virginia area. DOD, DOA, to get customer buy in and coordination. I was awarded a Chairman’s inner circle award in Las Vegas in 2013 for this effort.

·   Selected to travel to numerous cities across the US, to Design, Develop and Implement a wireless network operation for Amtrak. Direct Contractors to wiring requirements, configure AP’s and Switches. This was a 6 month project that I had completed in 4 months.

·   I was initially hired to install a data center at the FAA ARTCC (in Oberlin Ohio), and install networks at various selected airports and outland building (RCAG Sites) for the FAA Project.

·   Built trunk groups in Alcatel and Nortel Switch’s at Central Office, and 1 Center (now known as NOCs), Porting of numbers, Build cross connects in DXC, Hard wired terminal equipment.

·   Install fiber to the Home services and features, including Residential, digital NIDS.

·   NOC QA Tech - Check for order accuracy, and Order all required CPE for NEO Customers

·   Philadelphia CPE install - Install Service and Repair at customer Premise - Analog and Digital Voice/Video/Data/Fiber services, From a DSO as low as 2.4 Analog to OC192 services. ISDN/PRI Services, Channel Banks, CSUs, DSUs, M13’s, Echo Cancellers,

·   Fiber Sonet devices, Fujitsu FW units (several versions) Wescom and Nortel Channel banks, Many others

·   Made Ethernet and roll over cables, DB9’s DB25’s RJ45 / 48s

·   Used OTDR to locate faults, performed buried and aerial fiber locates, supervised close quarter digs, coordinated splicing activities during fiber events.

·   Performed splicing, including connector and Pigtail splices, Installed LMS system for locating routes.

·   Responsible for Fiber route from Akron, Ohio, to Willard, Ohio 

 

1985 – 1991 US Navy – Avionics Technician / Plane Captain  AT2

·   In support of HSL42 SH60B Seahawk Helicopters – TDR/FDR Sweeps, Compass Calibration,

·   Crypto load and repair,

·   In Flight Tech, Sensors operator, CD/QAR Inspector, SAR Swimmer/Door Gunner, Plane Captain Qualifier, (Attended Crewman Flight school in Pensacola, FLA)

·   Maintain all aspects of the Aircraft including, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Airframe and Flight controls, GET700-401C Jet Engines.

·   Torpedo/Chaff/Flare load lead.

·   All instrumentation and Navigation equipment, including Radar, IFF, FLIR, Secure radios, Data Link System, and ESM/ECM Systems, Sonabuoy, Penguin Missile, RAST, Flotation Systems.

·   Won Plane captain of the Month award, 7 times. We were the experimental squadron that developed The SH60 Gulf War Package.
